The first part of this wikibook is for you if you are just starting out with visual novel making. Different elements of a visual novel are introduced, as well as how to to release a game.
The second part of the book is for the more experienced VN makers who basically know how to make a game, but now want to level up and make great games! It teaches you about customizing your game's look and feel. It also serves to explain the entire Ren'py scripting language via clear examples.
For offline reading, it is possible to print out the tutorial as a single document.
